my design philosophy
Conversation is the root of many great ideas. For someone who wasn't gifted with the ability to read minds, engaging in conversation is a great way to understand another person's perspective. Each conversation gives me the opportunity to be touched and inspired. Through this, a world of complexity, experience, opportunity, and wisdom opens up.
Every experience is a learning opportunity. My experience as a food runner at BJ’s Brewhouse emphasized communication and conflict resolution, while my time at Design Interactive fostered collaboration and active listening skills. Remember, the abilities you acquire in any role can be applied to future opportunities. Always take the opportunity to reflect and learn from your experiences.
Ideas are meant to be shared. Discovering my voice and having the courage to express it has boosted my confidence. Sharing ideas, even when they're not fully formed, helps me identify areas for improvement. I overcame my lack of confidence, learned the value of patience in developing ideas, and realized that confidence and sharing contribute to strength.
